QUESTION POSED ON: 01 July 2008
I got an ORA-03113 error and disconnected the session when I was trying to refresh a materialized view completely. No any other ORA- errors occurred with this in alert log and trace files.

This has occurred from the beginning of this month and this was worked successfully before. I checked all possible scenarios according to this issue and all are working fine. My database version is Oracle Enterprise Edition Rel. 9.2.0.1 - 32bit, which is running on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. My source database version is Oracle Enterprise Edition Rel. 9.2.0.8 - 64bit, which is running on HP-UX 11.11. Please help me overcome this problem.

EXPERT RESPONSE
Unfortunately, ORA-3113 errors only tell you that your session was disconnected from the database. It does not tell you why the session was disconnected. For that, you'd have to set up a network trace and have the trace files analyzed by Oracle Support. I suggest you work with Oracle Support issues as most people, even long-time Oracle experts, can have difficulty diagnosing network traces.
