I want to know if it is possible to export data from an Oracle DB running on UNIX platform and import those data into an Oracle DB running on Windows.

EXPERT RESPONSE
The Oracle export and import utilities are platform independent. Just make sure that if you FTP the export dump file to the other platform, you FTP in BINARY mode. So export the database's contents on your Unix platform. Transfer the dump file to the Windows platform and import there. For more information on export/import, go to this website click on your specific database version, and look for the Utilities Guide.
