QUESTION POSED ON: 27 August 2007
I'm a Java programmer and currently working as a developer in a software firm. I am very new to databases (Oracle 9.2 installed) and my problem is I'm not able to view tables in NetBeans 5.5 even after establishing the connection with the database via NetBeans. I get a message in NetBeans saying "unable to see the data structure, connection is broken; unsupported feature." But in the next node, I can view tables under "VIEW" node and it loads procedures as well. But somehow for some dubious reason I am not able to see tables.

EXPERT RESPONSE
The error message you included is not an Oracle error message. So I am led to believe that the problem is with NetBeans. Since I have no experience with this product, I would have to refer you to their support.
