We need to dump a SQL Server 2005 database with the data from an OLTP Oracle 7.2.3 database daily. Which of the following is better:
  1. Pulling data from SQL Server 2005 DB
  2. Pushing data from Oracle 7.2.3

From experience, I would pull data from SQL Server using DTS packages. With this all you should need to do is configure an ODBC connection to the Oracle database.
