QUESTION POSED ON: 05 September 2006
I'd like to know if there are published procedures for migrating a PeopleSoft application from a Sybase database to Oracle. One would think that Oracle would hurry to provide such migration paths, but I cannot find any information.

Oracle does provide migration tools from various database platforms to Oracle that does include Sybase Adaptive Server on Windows and Linux. Click here for more information on these tools.

I would caution against using these migration tools unless PeopleSoft/Oracle Support explicitly says that this is a supported option. Contact PeopleSoft/Oracle Support for more information on how to migrate your PeopleSoft application from Sybase to Oracle.
