It is unclear to me whether you are planning to upgrade the operating system and database in place, i.e., on the same server, or whether you are migrating to a new server. If you are upgrading both in place, Oracle9i and Oracle 10gR2 are supported on Solaris 10. This means you can first upgrade your database to 10gR2 and then your operating system to Solaris 10, or the other way around. I would caution against upgrading the database and operating system at the same time.
If you are planning to migrate to an entirely new server which will have Solaris 10 and Oracle 10gR2 (I would recommend this approach), then how you migrate your database will depend on the size of the database, as well as how long of an outage you have available. To review your options, refer to the Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2) Upgrade Guide. This guide will provide you with prerequisite checks and information, as well as step-by-step information on how to perform the upgrade.
