QUESTION POSED ON: 24 July 2006
I have an Oracle table with 30 million records and the queries to that table are VERY slow! I can't create another index because I don't have disk space. Can you recommend something for this case? Thanks!

EXPERT RESPONSE
If queries are very slow because Oracle is performing full table scans, then creation of an index is really your best option. See if you can reclaim some disk space so that you can create one.
