QUESTION POSED ON: 12 April 2006
I am trying to export a database from Oracle 8.1.7.3 and import to Oracle 10g, and I am getting this error message: 
 
ORA-06550: line 1, column 33:
PLS-00302: component 'SET_NO_OUTLINES' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored

The only time I've seen this message is when using a higher version of the export utility and a lower version of the import utility. The higher version puts the SET_NO_OUTLINES directive in the dump file. The lower version of the import does not know of this feature so it throws the error.
