Yes, it is possible; however, the server will need some horsepower to provide any performance. You are also installing applications that are no longer supported by Oracle. I would recommend that you use a supported version of Linux or at least one of the more recent versions.
Linux will provide more memory to the application than Windows will on a basic server (1-2 CPU and 4 GB RAM). These versions will require that the server support two databases and two application server instances--a lot for one server. If you are not being forced to use these older versions of the application server and database, I would recommend that you use the 10g database and application server, placing the metadata repository in the 10g database so that there is only one database.
