QUESTION POSED ON: 26 September 2005
I need an export command for Oracle 9i. My current command gives the following errors: 
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 942 encountered
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
EXP-00024: Export views not installed, please notify your DBA
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully.

It is not your export command that is the problem, but rather some missing or corrupt Data Dictionary views. Have your DBA sign on to the database as SYS and run the ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catproc script. Your export should run just fine after that.
