QUESTION POSED ON: 12 July 2005
I have been an Oracle DBA for the past eight years but never had a chance to work on XML and Oracle combined. I would be grateful if you could let me know where to start looking to learn more about the advantages of using XML and Oracle together.

EXPERT RESPONSE
The best place is probably OTN (otn.oracle.com). There are forums and a lot of documentation on that site.

The first place I always go for new information is the Concepts manual for the version you want to use. The next step would be the XML DB Application Developer's Guide. You can also read up on XMLELEMENT and the related SQLX functions in the SQL reference manual.
