QUESTION POSED ON: 07 June 2005
I am new to Oracle, but I am learning fast. I am running Oracle
9.2.0.1.0 on a Windows 2000 Server service pack 4. This is a test
machine for me to use with another piece of software. I am logged
into
my database AS SYSDBA. I have to do a restore of the
database.
When I go to Backup Management and try to do a recovery it tells me:
Using preferred credentials, the following error occurred:
ORA-01031:insufficient privileges.
How do I fix this and be able to
do a recovery?
