QUESTION POSED ON: 14 March 2005
I am working with VB and Oracle8i. Whenever I connect with Oracle8i I receive a run time error:

Run time error '2147217887(80040e21)'
Multiple OLEDB operation generated errors. Check each OLEDB status value, if available. No work was done.
How can I remove this error?

This error while connecting indicates that there is a problem with the data in your connection object, most likely the connection string. Make sure your connection string is properly formatted to allow the application to find and connect to the database.
