QUESTION POSED ON: 22 October 2004
I want to change my career and want to be Oracle expert. Presently, I am working as an application analyst and would like to take an Oracle job. I am preparing for Oracle certification. I don't know what books are the best to get in depth knowledge of Oracle that could also help me in passing my exams. I have opted for the Oracle developer certification path and would later take the DBA exams too. Any tips or reference books for the Oracle exams would be useful. I have knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle. I would really appreciate your response.

I am assuming you have access to Oracle database and Oracle Forms. Just reading books will not help as you can not learn only from reading books.

There are several books on Oracle from Oracle Press that you may want to look into. O'Reilly also has some books on Oracle PL/SQL programming.
