Technet has the Oracle10g documentation
available now. I suggest visiting this site and registering for a free
account. After that, you will be able to access all of the
documentation. In particular, the Oracle10g New Features guide will
let you know what is new since the 9i release. There are too many
features to list here. A read of the new features guide will let you know if 10g is worth the upgrade for you. You may very
well find that it is.
Keep in mind that many DBAs don't trust production environments to the
first release or two of a new product. New versions tend to have bugs
which take a while to find and fix. So many DBAs won't trust this first
version of 10g for anything in a production capacity, especially
mission-critical databases. Personally, I'll load 10g in the very near
future and begin to play with it, but I will not be using it for
anything new for about a six to 12 months.
