Oracle Mobile Security Suite (OMSS)

Oracle Mobile Security Suite (OMSS) is a mobile security system intended to allow organizations to provide secure application access from mobile devices to enterprise applications.

Oracle Mobile Security Suite (OMSS) is a mobile application management (MAM) system that functions as an extension  of Oracle’s pre-existing Oracle Identity Management, providing a client-side container inside the mobile device.

The container separates corporate applications and personal applications. Business applications can be wrapped and secured in the container to ensure they have no contact with personal applications. The container also provides a mobile application system with SSO, encryption for stored data, and a corporate application catalog. The container design comes from one of Oracle’s acquisitions, Bitzer Mobile. Access to the container is controlled through Oracle Identity Management.
