Azim Fahmi, Senior Systems Analyst, ESPN
Azim has worked in database and applications design and development for 12 years. Previously an Oracle consulant, he has worked with data warehouses, medical and administrative systems, and financial applications for such institutions as Harvard University, Yale University and Yale-New Haven Hospital. He's also held stints as senior database administrator and database systems team leader, managing overall operations of development, test and production servers in a heterogeneous environment.
In his current role at ESPN, Azim is responsible for the project leadership, analysis, design, development and implementation of computer systems that support all business processes and on-air production functions for the network. He holds a bachelor of science in computer science from the University of Maryland.
