Working with a test server on NT

I am an MS Windows NT and SQL Server user. I would like to gain access to a "test" Oracle database server using an NT workstation. Could you provide any info to help achieve my goal?

Most people who want to play around with Oracle just download a copy, install it, and begin their adventure. It is very difficult to find another individual's database to connect to just to play around. I would suggest heading to Oracle's Technet, creating a free account, and then heading to the Download section. Download a copy of Oracle9i Enterprise Edition and install it on your workstation. Then you can play around all you want. The download can take a while. Basically you are downloading 3 CDs worth. If you don't have the bandwidth for this type of download, Technet will let you order the software on media for a small price.
