Q

View for total users and default tables in Oracle database

How to check the total users and default tables that Oracle provides when we create a new database?

I have created a new database and I have logged in using the "sys" user. Now on giving the query "select user from V$USERS;" to know the number of users, I get the error "table or view does not exist." Kindly provide me with the solution to know how to check the total users and default tables that Oracle provides when we create a new database.
There is no V$USERS view. Instead, you probably want DBA_USERS, ALL_USERS or USER_USERS. The Oracle Reference Guide for your version has details on these Data Dictionary views.
