I have Oracle 9.2.0.1 on my Windows 2004 Server. I want to upgrade it to 9.2.0.5 . Please tell me all the related patch numbers and method to do this.

I cannot seem to locate a patch number for 9.2.0.5 for Windows 2003 Server so it may no longer be available. You might want to consider applying a more recent patch, such as 9.2.0.7. You must download the patch from Oracle's Metalink Web site.

Note that you must also have a valid CSI (Customer Service Identifier) to be able to access Metalink. The step-by-step instructions are quite detailed and beyond the scope of this forum but when you download the appropriate patchset from Metalink, a README file with instructions for installing the patch is included. Ensure you have an appropriate back-out plan in place just in case the patch fails. This includes having an appropriate backup of all your databases, as well as the Oracle software and inventory.
