Unable to view Oracle tables in NetBeans

I am very new to databases (Oracle 9.2 installed) and my problem is I'm not able to view tables in NetBeans 5.5 even after establishing the connection with the database via NetBeans.

I'm a Java programmer and currently working as a developer in a software firm. I am very new to databases (Oracle 9.2 installed) and my problem is I'm not able to view tables in NetBeans 5.5 even after establishing the connection with the database via NetBeans. I get a message in NetBeans saying "unable to see the data structure, connection is broken; unsupported feature." But in the next node, I can view tables under "VIEW" node and it loads procedures as well. But somehow for some dubious reason I am not able to see tables.
The error message you included is not an Oracle error message. So I am led to believe that the problem is with NetBeans. Since I have no experience with this product, I would have to refer you to their support.
