I am trying to install Oracle 18.104.22.168.0 with a second Oracle_Home for my SAP test server; I already have one Oracle_Home for my development server, which is working fine on the same box. The Oracle Universal Installer stops at 30% at the executing prerequisites stage. Please help me.
Without specific error messages, it is difficult for me to guess what problem the Oracle Universal Installer has encountered to cause it to halt. You can review the installation log which is located with the Oracle inventory. Usually, on Windows, it is located under Program Files --> Oracle. Look for a log directory in this location, and then a file called installActions_<date/time>.log. This will usually be the last created file in this directory. Reviewing the contents of this installation file may give you more information about the specific error message.
