Q

Transferring Oracle from Windows NT to Linux

What are the things that are to be taken while transfering Oracle from Windows NT to Linux using C++?
Luckily, most of your DBA tasks won't change. So if you know how to administer Oracle on Windows, then you pretty much know how to do the same things on Linux. You will have to get used to different OS commands for moving, copying, renaming files, etc. Otherwise, you can easily transfer your Oracle database from Windows to Linux using Oracle's export and import utilities.
