Q

Total Oracle CPU time

I'd like to know the amount of Oracle CPU time and I'm looking at the value for "CPU used by this session" in v$sysstat. Can I consider this as a total CPU time value?

I'd like to know the amount of Oracle CPU time and I'm looking at the value for "CPU used by this session" in v$sysstat. Can I consider this as a total CPU time value or do I have to add this value with "recursive CPU usage" and "parse time CPU"?
My understanding is that this is the total CPU time used by all the sessions of the database. You should not have to add anything else to it.
