Tool to determine how long SQL scripts will run

We have a couple of SQL scripts which need to be run to modify some tables/data. Is it possible to roughly gauge the time it would take to run these scripts without actually running them?

We're currently running Oracle 9.2.0.6. We have a couple of SQL scripts which need to be run to modify some tables/data. Is it possible to roughly gauge the time it would take to run these scripts without actually running them? Is there some tool I could use that would give me some sort of idea as to how long the scripts would take to complete?
There is no really good tool out there for providing your estimates, unfortunately. Whenever I have to run new scripts against my production database, I run them against my test instance first. This way, I can ensure that I do not break my production database and make my users mad at me. When running in the test environment, you can get an idea of how long this will take.
