we would need to use 9iR2. Do you know if this is true? If so, do you know where I can find out when it might integrate with 10g? I am not familiar with this product. Typically with third party applications, it is up to the vendor (in this case, XyEnterprises) to ensure that its software works on a specific version of the Oracle database. You would have to contact this vendor to find out if they certify their product on Oracle 10g, and if not, when they plan on doing so.
Oracle10g is a new platform. It does take some time for vendors to get their products certified on these new platforms. I would suspect that if XyEnterprises supported Oracle9iR2, then it won't be too long before they also support 10g.
