Syntax error while running Oracle 10g installer

While running the Oracle 10g DB installer on Sun Solaris, I am getting this syntax error.

While running Oracle 10g DB installer in Sun Solaris 9 OS, I am getting this error. Please help me find a solution for this issue.
$ ./runInstaller
/apps/Ora10gDB/companion/install/.oui: 
syntax error at line 1: `(' unexpected
First, ensure that you are installing the correct Oracle software for your platform. Second, it's possible that the downloaded software is corrupted or incomplete. You can download Oracle 10g release 2 (10.2.0.1.0) from Oracle's Technology Network Web site. Download the software again, follow the directions on how to unzip the files and retry the installation.
