Suggested file system for Oracle 9.2.0.4 on Linux RHEL AS 3.0

We have installed Oracle 9.2.0.4 on Linux RHEL AS 3.0. We have a question about which file system we should be using: EXT2/EXT3, OCFS, or RAW. We understand the definition of all file systems, but is there a preferred file system for Oracle? Right now we are using EXT3, but developers are asking if we have a preference? I haven't found anything on MetaLink that definitively states which is preferred by Oracle.

If this is RAC, then OCFS is your best best for manageability and performance combined. If it is a single-instance system, then use EXT3. There's a note on MetaLink describing supported file systems for unbreakable Linux that discusses what Oracle's supported file systems are.
