Q

Should SMBs use RAID?

Is it viable for small-to-medium-sized businesses to use RAID?
Yes. There are a number of different RAID "levels," and some, such as RAID 1 (simple disk mirroring) can make sense regardless of the volume of data involved. In planning your use of RAID, consider the size of your databases, the expected workload, the availability of storage technology expertise and the budget.
