Setting for TCP.EXCLUDED_NODES

Hello Brian, I believe your reference to TCP.INCLUDED_NODES should be TCP.INVITED_NODES. And I have a question: What do you set in for TCP.EXCLUDED_NODES to exclude the universe, and then use TCP.INVITED_NODES to allow only your chosen few?

Thanks for the correction. It should be TCP.INVITED_NODES in the SQLNET.ORA configuration file.

If you want to exclude everyone, but only invite a few, then do not denote EXCLUDED_NODES in your config file. But do add INVITED_NODES to your config file. This will instruct Oracle to exclude everyone except those you invited.
