Restricting database logon times

How can I make a profile for a certain group of Oracle database users so that I can restrict their logon times to between 09.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs, also only on working days?

There is no profile setting to limit the logons of those profile users to a particular time of the day (or week). You'll have to set up an AFTER LOGON trigger. If the user logging on is a particular user name, and the logon time is outside of their time window, then kill the session.
