Restoring database on test machine

I have one server with Oracle 9.2.0.1 on Windows 2003 Server. My server is running in archive mode. Now I want to restore this database to one of our test machines.

I have one server with Oracle 9.2.0.1 on Windows 2003 Server. My server is running in archive mode. Now I want to restore this database to one of our test machines and make sure that archiving is properly generated. What are the steps I should follow?
