Since last week RMAN backs up for a few hours then it fails. The following are the errors:

  failed to create sequential file, name="TBDW_DB_607696962_7_20596", parms=""
ORA-27028: skgfqcre: sbtbackup returned error
ORA-19511: VxBSACreateObject: Failed with error:
  Server Status:  Communication with the server has not been iniatated 
  or the server status has not been retrieved from the server.
RMAN-10031: ORA-19624 occurred during call to 
  DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE.BACKUPPIECECREATE

RMAN cannot create the file for the backup piece. Make sure that the Oracle user can create files on the destination device. This is not really an RMAN issue but a server issue where Oracle cannot create a file. Check to ensure the destination device is not full.
