Problem installing 8i on Windows XP

I'm facing a problem when installing Oracle8i (8.1.5) on Windows XP. Is it possible to install and use in Windows XP? If so, please tell me what extra files are needed.

According to Oracle's certification matrix, Oracle 8.1.5 is not certified for the Windows XP platform, so this may explain the difficulty you are experiencing with the installation. Oracle's certification matrix can be found here.
