Problem downloading Oracle software

I was trying to download Oracle8i Enterprise Edition (584MB) from its Web site and could not get it completely. The given reason from IE is connection with server timeout. The same for 9i download.

If you are downloading from Technet in the last week or so (just prior to Feb 17, 2004), then please note that Oracle just released the Oracle 10g version for downloading off this Web site. So many, many people are attempting to download software and this could be causing your problems. You can either wait until the usage dies down. Or you can order a box with all of the CDs in it. To order the CDs, visit the Technet Web site.
