How to open an Oracle database automatically when the computer restarts (Windows 2000 Server and Oracle 8i)? Oracle services are automatically starting already but the database is not opening.

How to open an Oracle database automatically when the computer restarts (Windows 2000 Server and Oracle 8i)? Oracle services are automatically starting already but the database is not opening.
Look in the registry folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareOracleHome0. In that folder will be a registry key called ORA_sid_AUTOSTART. Set this key to TRUE.
