ORACLE_HOME environment with 9i and 10g on same machine

I have Oracle 10g installed on Windows 2003. I'm now going to install Oracle 9i on the same machine. I understand that on Windows Oracle will assign the ORACLE_HOME environment during installation. In this case 10g is already installed and the ORACLE_HOME environment is already set for 10g. What should I do with the ORACLE_HOME environment for 9i? What should I do to prevent the installation of 9i being aborted due to two different ORACLE_HOMEs?

The Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) manages and supports multiple Oracle Homes, so during the software installation of both 10g and 9i the installer will manage updating relevant registry entries as well as environment variables such as PATH. For further information, refer to the Oracle Database Installation Guide 10g Release 2 (10.2) for Microsoft Windows (32-Bit).
