While connecting to Oracle 9i Database Server using Oracle 9i Client, I'm getting the following error: "ORA-12699: Native Service Internal Error." How do I resolve this?

You did not include the exact version, but there is a known bug which is fixed in the 9.2.0.7 patchset. You might want to apply the patchset to see if the error is fixed.

In your database server, find the sqlnet.ora configuration file. This file is normally in %ORACLE_HOME%\network\admin. In this file, comment out the line that starts with SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES if this parameter contains "NTS" for its value. Then try the operation again.
