Q

Language to use for multithreading for datawarehousing ETL

For datawarehousing ETL needs, which one of the following is good for multithreading?

  1. PRO*C
  2. PL/SQL

The language you use does not determine whether multiple process threads execute; that is typically a characteristic of the operating system. Either Pro*C or PL/SQL code can, however, take advantage of Oracle parallel processing.
