Is it possible to implement Oracle9i RAC on Red Hat Linux 8.0

Is it possible to implement Oracle9i Real Application Clusters (RAC) on Red Hat Linux 8.0. -- and if so, what are the steps to install it? Any links would be appreciated.

You can find an article on TechNet for setting up RAC on Linux using Firewire ("Build your own RAC cluster on Linux and FireWire"). I haven't tried to configure RAC on RedHat 8.0 and I would presume that it's possible, but it certainly isn't supported. The article uses Fedora Core 1 (which is free), so maybe you should give that a try.

Some other great resources for setting up Oracle on Linux are Werner Puchitz's Linux page at www.puschitz.com and OTN's Linux Technology Center at otn.oracle.com/linux.
