Interconnect different servers at different locations

We have some 7.3 ,8.0 and 9i Oracle server installations. Is it possible to create a database link between 9i and 7.3 as well as between 9i and 8.0? We need to interconnect different servers at different locations.

The 9i <-> 8.0 link should work okay. The links to/from 7.3 should also work, but 7.3 has lost support long ago, so you won't get any support for that database or connections to/from it. However, the matrix shows that it was once supported which means that it should work okay. Refer to Metalink Note 207303.1: "Client / Server / Interoperability Support Between Different Oracle Versions" to check compatibility between the clients and servers in your environment.
