Indexing in 10g

Is indexing in 10g different from 8i or 9i?
Each of these releases of Oracle has introduced indexing enhancements. In Oracle10g, the incremental improvements include the ability to list-partition index-organized tables (IOTs), to create global indexes as hash-partitioned indexes, and better performance of bitmap indexes.
