How to resolve ORA-04030 error?

I am getting an ORA-04030 error, "out of memory cannot allocate nn bytes." Do I need to change the pga_aggregate_target parameter?

Hi Brian, I am getting an ORA-04030 error, "out of memory cannot allocate nn bytes." Do I need to change the pga_aggregate_target parameter? If I need to how should I do that? If not tell me some other way to rectify this error message.
A full, complete error message would have been more helpful.

In order to see if you need to increase the PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET parameter, go to my Web site and download a white...

paper titled "Tuning PGA in Oracle 9i." I give a step-by-step example on what to look for and how to estimate a good value for this parameter.
