How much redo will be generated when we take a hot backup of 100 tablespaces?

The amount of redo generated depends on your transaction volume during the time of your hot backup. The more transactions, the more redo that will be generated. This has nothing to do with the number of tablespaces, but the transaction volume. This is why hot backups are typically done at night during non-peak times.

The above assumes you are using the old-style hot backups. If you are using RMAN to perform your hot backups, then you do not have to worry about an increase in your redo generation.
