Guidance for a new DBA

Hi Brian, this is Nagarjuna Reddy from Hyderabad, India, working as a DBA trainee at SURAV Infosoft. Here there is no training for me, so I have to learn on my own. Can you please give me suggestions on how to make a start as a DBA? I am aware of database concepts and SQL queries. Now I am just planning to join in a training institute locally. I appreciate your guidance.
