Giving Oracle more RAM for streams

We are running Oracle9i on Server 2003 EE SPK1. I want to give Oracle more than 4G of RAM for SGA but I cannot. I have read old files in Metalink that suggest hidden parameters and registry hacks but they are all for Oracle 7 and 8. Any ideas? I need the RAM for streams. 9i streams is not the best but with more memory it seems to work out better.

In order to allocate more than 2GB to the SGA, you must be running the 64-bit version of Oracle. This means that you must also be running a 64-bit operating system. Upgrade to a 64-bit OS and then install 64-bit Oracle.
