Q

Format of dump files changed

I'm using Oracle for our database. Unknowingly I opened my data's backup files in dump format into Excel and now it is not showing my backup files. It has changed the format of my dump files into Excel. How can I recover my backup files?

The best way to recover your backup files is to just take another backup of your database. If Excel or some other application made changes to your binary file, then you'll just have to re-create the backup!
