Exporting from Oracle to Excel

How to export table data from a database to an Excel sheet?

Oracle does not include any utility to dump right in to Excel, so I typically dump data in to a comma delimited file and then open the file in Excel. Excel will automatically start a wizard for you and walk you through the process of getting the data into Excel. Tom Kyte discusses this in detail on his Web site. Rather than duplicate his wonderful work, I refer you to there.
