a queue table. It gives the below error and the session gets disconnected:
BEGIN * ERROR at line 1:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
Below is the script I am using to create the queue table :
DBMS_AQADM.create_queue_table(Queue_table => 'AQ_TEST_IN_TABLE',
Queue_payload_type => 'RAW',
storage_clause=> 'TABLESPACE SYSTEM',
With the same script I am able to create the queue table in a different system which also has a 9i Database Version 126.96.36.199.0 Compatibility 188.8.131.52.0. I dont think that the version should matter since the one that gives me error has a higher version and both have the same compatibility. Can you help me solve this error?
The ORA-3113 error is a generic message indicating that the communications with the database have been severed. Unfortunately, there is no indication as to why this happened. I typically find that this occurs when one's environment variables are not set up correctly. So verify that all of your environment variables are correct. After that, try setting up the AQ packages and procedures again. Sign on to the database as SYS and run the ?/rdbms/admin/catqueue.sql script. Finally, make sure that you do not have invalid packages and procedures. You may have to recompile some stuff if that is the case.
If none of the above does not solve your problem, then you will have to open a TAR with Oracle Support.
