Does replication have performance benefits?

I want to know about replication's actual benefits. We have huge tables with range partitions, but still we have performance issues, so I want to know will replication help us! Or do we have to do sub-partitioning?
Replication and partitioning don't really have anything to do with one another. Replication is a means of making the same data available on multiple databases, and is not at all related to improving performance. If you can be a bit more specific about what you're trying to do, I'd be happy to answer a follow-up question.
